The best part about my tutoring is how I am able to make complex concepts understandable. I focus on using familiar words and ideas to identify the basic parts of a concept to make it manageable. I teach my students that there are no "easy" or "hard" subjects: if something is already familiar to you, it makes it easy, and if it is unfamiliar, it is more challenging. The purpose of my work is to take the "hard" areas and show students how to handle them. I always stress that anyone can learn by investing the effort.I attended the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Utrecht University. I am comfortable tutoring Elementary and Middle School Math, Science, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Finite Mathematics, Statistics, English, Literature, Essays, Computer Science, and Electrical and Computer Engineering. I can also help students prepare for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and GRE.In my free time, I enjoy singing, cooking, and roller derby.
