Experience
I attended Boston University, where I received my bachelor's degree in chemistry and minored in biology. I also attended the Scripps Research Institute and Harvard. At Scripps, I earned my Ph.D. in chemistry, and I attained my postdoctoral credentials in chemistry from Harvard. While accomplishing my academic goals, I also spent a majority of my time as a teacher's assistant. I was an assistant for a wide range of courses, including intro to biology, general chemistry, and physical organic chemistry. While in graduate school, I was also active in an outreach program that assisted disadvantaged students and gave them the opportunity to perform scientific research. Upon graduation from Harvard, I was employed as a research chemist. As of recent day, I am an adjunct professor of chemistry and am also a tutor. Not only do I have a love for teaching, but I also believe that learning the sciences is pivotal for every single student. As for my teaching style, I enjoy using real world examples. Simple illustrations are also a wonderful tool when it comes to teaching. I try to inspire my students to excel in both written and verbal communication. When I am not working, I have a love for the arts. I enjoy drawing, writing, and music.
