I am an easy-going college graduate with a deep passion for science. After graduating from UCI in Neurobiology, I plan on attending medical school and earn my M.D./Ph.D. It is my dream to become a physician scientist so that I may help patients in the lab and at the bedside. I currently conduct research in neuroepigenetics, which is just a fancy way of saying that I'm interested in the DNA in your brain. I am working at the National Institute of Health (NIH) as a two-year research intern in Bethesda, MD. When I have free time, I tutor homeless children with a club I founded called School on Wheels at UCI. I also love golf, astrophotography, fishing, and playing the cello.
